Discovery of Illustration Friday has been very motivating for me. I look forward with anticipation to every topic and the amount of satisfaction I get from participating in this group is unmeasurable. I just wanted to say thanks to each and everyone of you, because you inspire me, to be a better Illustrator.
Tech Notes: I didn't do to much drawing on this piece...all Photoshop work.

My own private Hell, would be, playing poker for eternity and every hand would be Deuce-Seven. The worst hand in poker.
Tech Notes...I actually shot my hands with a digital camera to get this angle. I than sketched the assorted characters with pencil. I scanned that drawing and sketched it in Illustrator in full color. I did the background seperately and I liked it so much I decided to make the Poker Players monotone with the hell background behind them...It turned out ok, I like it.

My heaven is different than yours...There's no Angels, halos and harps. Everyone has their own vision of heaven. My heaven will have a little red Mustang and open skies, long curvy roads with no traffic.
addendum - I think I'm developing a style here...a friend of mine classified it as Car Caricatures. I sketched this little coupe at 0630 this morning...I finished it in an hour before work, and before my cup of coffee.

I rarely get air in my Mustang...but in my mind's eye, everyday is the "Dukes of Hazard" with potential jumps and crazy cops lurking around every corner. I got the Grey Ghost up to 120 mph the other day before I got "skert." Every time I punch the accelerator I feel the whole car TWIST from the torque like a beast pouncing on it prey. I need to slow down before I get twisted around a tree, if anything I'll save alot of money on gas...nah.
